    Posted: 18 Feb. 2019 at 2:03pm
Hello Everyone,

Digging through some old pictures this weekend, we found a couple pictures of my Dads old Jeeps Smile The color photos were taken sometime around 1972.... The B&W photo was taken some time during High school, I believe in Sept/Oct 1968 and was a 1945 MB. All photos were taken in Long Island, NY.

Dad told me he sold the mostly all stock Red 1942 MB in 1975 for $400 big ones ConfusedWacko

Old pics are almost always better when you have the story(ies) that go with them Thumbs Up

Like Mike said... Old pics with history is the best. My family didn't really take many pictures when I was young so I've never seen a pic of our willys truck back in the 60's or the jeeps my brothers had in the 70's. Treasure your old pics as they're very precious.

to many jeeps, parts, and accessories to list here, but apparently enough to keep me in trouble with my wife.

I'm sure he will get a kick out of this, (I sent him a link to this page)... Here's the old man around the same time the Jeep pics were taken. LOL The 70's looked fun!!

Love it! Tie a rag (or your girlfriends tank top) between the forks to stop the road water from throwing off of the fenderless front tire and into your face.. been there..

Your Photos are making me so jealous. Dad had a Braun Super II Paxette 35mm rangefinder camera that he took photos of everything with. We had to sit through dozens and dozens of Slide Shows as kids. And now all these years later even though I have supposedly managed to get a hold of the majority of Dads Prints and Slides I have nothing from the 8 years he was in the Salem Jeep Club or the 4-5 years he was in the Marion County Search and Rescue With Chug or the 2 times Dad and Mom went off to the big Jeep Jamboree in Yakima WA. Nothing from all the family outings in CHUG. In fact the only Photos I have from this Jeep being in the family for 57 years  are a couple I took in High School.

I got all kinds of other photos he took show boxes of them. I think one of the brothers is holding  out on me.

NOW where did they go?

yep I am so Jealous. Of your great family photos.
