This is a NOS Good Year that I have. Made in the USA. 4 PLY 6.00-16. The last picture is a comparison of the tread to repros that I have.

Yes, the originals are referred to as pencil points.
Dave, the repro tread that you have is an NDCC with the rounded over profile or edges whereas the NTDs were the original design and are also available as new tires although, obviously, without the pencil point detail in the tread design. There is at least one thread around here where the differences between NDTs and NDCCs are discussed. |
