SE K, will do on the torque wrench. I just wrapped up assembling the PS knuckle and bearings & axle. Will hit the other side in the AM, as the sun is down and light is fading.
This isn't a total axle overhaul - my bendix joints are worn out along with the bushings. We'll see what we can do later this summer. The rear axle needs attention as well. Bearings are grumbling and seals are shot. That said, once I have new axle shafts and bushings in the front and take care of the rear, I'll have finally gone through all the mechanicals. Bruce W, unfortunately we can't get that kick-ass, old-school red epoxy primer anymore either. Shoot these tubs with it on bare metal and they'd outlast the human race.
