Just throwing this out here. I'm wanting a lift that uses a Ramsey PTO driven winch to power the lift. Mounts to draw bar and dia. Bracing mount inside CJ Bed through frame. Thanks!

Yes ! Thanks Russ for putting that up on the page. I'm being Spoon Fed info. To build my own. Drawings , pictures , commentary. But sometimes (especially when it come to the original cast pieces) it's better to trade or cut the check. Thanks Kev

Koenig made a similar rear pto winch. Thought you might want to know in case you aren't particular about the brand.

Kevin - do you know what the max weight the A-frame is rated to lift?

I know I used a tractor 3 point lift on my 2A and 400 lbs brought the front wheels almost off the ground.

Thanks Bruce, I'm thinking I'd get either a front weight from a friend or have some guys stand on the front bumper. I'm looking at several different scenarios. I've got a rear mount winch that was originally driven by a 1/2" square piece of stock. Possibly using  the winch being driven from my pto gearbox via chain and sprockets. Also thinking mounting winch to a 3 point of my Newgren and/or using the winch or maybe just the 3 point boom. Things are picking up at the shop so I may just be picking parts for now. I'm up to 4 pto driven winches now so I've got to use at least a couple of them.WinkThanks, Kevin
