I have some rattle coming from the storage box under the passenger seat. When I hold the lid down It stops. Any advice for preventing the rattle?

I'd be willing to bet that the factory in Toledo installed a few rattles in these rigs as original equipment.
Put a rubber strip around the lid and tighten up the "U" that holds the door closed. That may stop THAT rattle... |

There is supposed to be a circumferential gasket around the hole. If its not there the lid will rattle. Also the latching mechanism can be bent out of shape so that a positive latch catch is not obtainable. It depends on the kind of latch you have.

I was going to say "Weld it shut," but I thought that might be rude.

I don't even think the latch is there. I am going to probably just put a rubber lining to take the rattle away.
Thanks! JS

Top secret fix is: go buy a pack of felt furniture wood floor protectors. Peel and stick. Works fantastic.

I'm with SE Kansas. I thought that the rattles and squeaks were OEM equipment...

If it stops rattling that means that something just fell off. Stop and go back and look for it.
