Okay, I give.

I tried to search this topic, but came up empty.  I understand where the CJ-2A bows and center support are stored.  I’m wondering where others store the rods used to support the bows and doors?  Bag them and just toss it in the back?Shocked

More or less. To my knowledge there is no standard place to store the rod hardware other than strapped to the rear fender wells with the canvas.

Thanks Jeff.  3As have zero provisions for storing top bows and rods.  2As came with cool ways to store most of the stuff.  I was hoping WO was just as clever with the small pieces.Unhappy

Might be the time to design a canvas rod "roll" like a tool roll......

I like it, I've been sliding the rods into the duffel along with the canvas..

So what would this bag / roll look like?  What feature would be included in this bag / Roll?  One option would be to design it like a military antenna bag for a field radio or spare barrel bag.  Made out of canvas and period correct style of course.

Except for the rusty toolbox that gets on whatever you put in there. Just makes things look more vintage though. Brand new surplus poncho now looks like it survived Guadalcanal.
