2007 Duramax, LBZ. Homemade trailer, 16 foot long, beavertail, pull out ramps. Deck width is 6 1/2 feet, Diamond deck and fenders, brakes on both axles. Tows straight as an arrow, even at greater than highway speeds. Future plans, aluminium tool box, with winch inside and extra tie downs.

The type of rig might depend on how far you're towing it.

Hmmm no photo but My Willys is going to be the Tow Rig. I plan on long distance trips pulling a small off road camp trailer.

Custom tube frame trailer with electric brakes on back axle only. Trailer weighs 700 lbs. and keeps Jeep really low to ground. Our 2003 Dodge diesel gets 15+ MPG pulling this combination.

Outstanding, such great rigs, am learning a 16 or 18 ft trailer isn't needed to haul a FF.
Hope to see more photos. Thanks! Bob |

Here's mine. 2014 Silverado Z71 and 18' utility trailer. No trailer brakes yet; 3500lb axles. These are the before shots.
Funny you should ask...I'll be documenting my modification to this trailer soon in the off-topic area. Here's where I'm at with the upgrade. I'm enclosing the trailer and making a v-nose toy hauler |

04.5 Dodge Diesel. I bought the old gal new and wouldn't trade her for the world.
5.9 Cummins with a tune and bigger exhaust. I added a full gauge package to monitor the motor. Estimate 750 ft/lbs of torque. Six speed manual and 4;10 gears. It pulls like a freight train. Way more truck than i could ever need. But hey, go big I say! Trailer is a 18 foot Sure Trac. Brakes on all four, LED lights and so on. Beautiful trailer. In hindsight, I probably should have gone with a 14 footer. Even with the big Jeep on there, it's more than I need. |

Here is my 48 CJ-2A and Bantam T3-C on a 16' Triton UT16 with surge brake on one axle. Just fits in this configuration...18' to 20' would be better. 12-14' without the Bantam would be perfect.

Here's a shot of my new to me trailer I bought for $750 last year. 16' with dovetail, knee ramps, 7,000 GVW. Single axle brakes. Fits the jeep with an implement nicely and if needed the ramps store under the trailer.
I bought it to haul my Kubota tractor as well as the jeep. I pull it with a 2003 Ram 2500 Cummins 6 speed. Pulls nice. We went to the reunion this year with the jeep loaded on the trailer (roughly 4200 lbs) and the back of the truck full of parts and show stuff which probably equaled another 1,000 lbs and got about 14 on the way over. |

6'-10"x12'-0", 7000# GVW and registered for all of it, electric brakes one axle... I toy with removing the drop gate ramps, but the limited long distance use makes the fuel immaterial. Trailer doubles for hauling my tractor that weighs a touch more than the 2A, and the V6 Taco tows either with ease
