Hey, maybe with the 18 foot trailer, we could get both flatties on there when we go to Moab.

5.9 Cummins with a tune and bigger exhaust. I added a full gauge package to monitor the motor.  Estimate 750 ft/lbs of torque. Six speed manual and 4;10 gears. It pulls like a freight train.  Way more truck than i could ever need. But hey, go big I say!

Trailer is a 18 foot Sure Trac. Brakes on all four, LED lights and so on. Beautiful trailer. In hindsight, I probably should have gone with a 14 footer. Even with the big Jeep on there, it's more than I need.

First time both trailer and willys on the tandem together. It was tight to fold ramps up. Might be a different situation with body on the frame. (Wish I had a 18' trailer vs. the 16' I have now)
Towed good- no problems. Only one (1) axle has brakes. If I get another trailer, it will have both.
Tool box up front keeps straps, axle straps, 4-way, hand cleaner, rags, etc. Spare tire and Hi-Lift Jack mounted on trailer. When we repainted the trailer, added new LED tail lights along with additional clearance lights. Finished up with new PT 2xboards.
Very happy with the trailer.

This is my 16 foot Fox trailer.  Wood deck, 3500lb axles, brakes on all wheels.  Tows great at highway speeds behind my '99 Ford Superduty F250 with 7.3L diesel.

Here is my 24 foot enclosed car hauler.  I used to be able to haul 2 jeeps inside.  But I've been adding features that take up inside space so I use it to haul only one Jeep at a time now.  I'm turning it into a "toy hauler" with creature features that include a shower, water storage, solar panels, and deep cycle batteries for electric power.

Here is my homebuilt, work in progress. I recently added the old tool box I had laying around and put in a HF 12K winch that had sat new in the box for four years. Believe me, it works great. With all the old junkers I pick up, I'm not sure how I lived without a winch in the box, before this. I've had a full sized 93 Deville on this trailer at 80MPH on the highway and its a dream to haul. Brakes on both axles, 10K rated axles. Just have to put on some side pockets and at some point get regular axles and get rid of those old Dexter, mobile home axles and then sand blast and repaint. Then I think it will be done.

That's where all the nasty rusty chains and binders go. Someday I am going to put a lid on it, maybe. But its a good place for those.

7814 Aluma trailer. Dual axles, electric brakes. Tows nicely behind a 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4 cylinder. Have taken it to Utah twice at about 5,000 miles each time.

Bkwudz, that's a really nice looking trailer! Do you camp out of it also, or just transport?

That's the plan...just need to add a fold down bunk, change the side door lock to an RV style, probably should add some vents too
