When I bought my '47 the previous owner told me that the Warn hubs had no " guts" in them. I finally got around to opening them up and thankfully they appear to have good condition axl shafts inside but are missing some parts. I can't find a model number stamped anywhere on the hubs, I know some have this but neither of these do. Can anyone identify these and what parts appear to be missing ? Thanks, Matt |

I'm not lucky enough to have the "Lock-O-Matic" version, but I do have the standard Warn locking hubs. If you are showing everything you have, then unfortunately, you are missing the entire body. I have no idea how to find the missing parts. They aren't made anymore.

Maybe this prior post will help you figure out what you have:

Good information posted by the other gentlemen, but be aware that the Warn "Locking Hub" is not the same as the "Lock-O-Matic".
That said, the top dial on you lock-o-matic doesn't look any diffferent than the dial on the locking-hub. I wonder if you could get the guts for the locking version. They are more common. Edited by athawk11 - 18 Feb. 2019 at 9:20pm |

I also have this portion. I forgot to post it earlier. It appears as though I am just missing the portion that is held on to the end of the axle by the spindle nut. Just not sure if that is all though.

Missing the cage, roller bearings, clutch pads and retainer spring and maybe more. I'll see if I can find a diagram for ya. If you decide to go another route, I'd be interested in what's left of your Lock-O-Matics to use as parts for my own.
Well that was easy. Even on the same site. Go figure. Anyway, this should help. Here's more with better pics. edit: the link below is no good I guess. I dunno. Just google Warn Lock-O-Matic images. Lots to see and read.

Yep, it looks like with the missing parts being all but unobtainable I will be best served converting it back to stock flanges.

My pair of M3B Lock O Matics are each missing 2 of the 12 drive pins. Could I use 1/4x1 pins?
