Any one selling good condition "rear shift" WARN 6 spline O.D. with a bad bowl gear ?
I won't be needing shift levers.

Hi Ken, i can't help you (sorry) but i just realised you might be able to help me.

I have a 6 spline Warn OD with a bad hub shaft. Do you have any bad ODs that might have a good hub? Or any loose OD hubs with good shafts?

No Mike, none.... but I come across many old Jeep parts and will gladly try to keep your needs in mind.

Ken, you don't say exactly which parts you are after. This is on EBay at the moment - I don't know if it meets your needs?

Sure do...

http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/overdrive-planet-hub_topic43905.html

The thread contains the details, but in summary:
  • My planet hub shaft bearing surface is not in great shape
  • New hubs are available from AA, but at a hefty price.
  • Add in the planetary gears x 4, needle bearings, spacers, thrust washers etc to complete the new hub and you are looking at upwards of $650.
  • Herm sells a brass sleeve bushing which would seem to be my best option for repair
Reading your WTB post here made me think that there might be good used OD parts out there that members might have available for sale - specifically a good planetary gear hub with gears already installed. Or even if you had OD's that have been pulled apart and you are trying to assemble a good one, you might have left over parts.

It was a long shot, but worth a shot anyway.
