Had a great weekend up at a friend of mines house in North Central PA. Its a place I have been going to for a long time, its not too far from home so it makes for a great long weekend get away. Here are some pictures.
Packing for the trip. It rained some while we were there, but we saw a nice rainbow! Some nice scenery up there. My daughters were getting lots of smiles per mile driving the MB around the farm. Here's us out on an old logging road. Here's the MB in a good deer spot! Even the cat liked the jeep! This is the first jeep I ever drove, it hasn't moved under its own power in years, might have to restore it one day.... All in all a great weekend get away, can't wait to do it again! great pics thx for sharing. Don't let that jeep sit too much longer. Restore it and put it into action. Your daughters need one of their own

Great thread. I don't know how many hours I spent under my MB to get it going or keeping it going. When the Jeep was running, I would throw in my Black Lab and go out to play in a field.
It is what memories are made of after all and I cherish all of them. |

Very nice pictures. That is about 2 and a half hours north of me, I'm near Altoona. It is very nice country up there. That's really cool seeing your girls driving the old MB another generation to keep the hobby going.
