PLO--beautiful restoration, thanks for sharing! I've driven in rural Sweden and always thought it would be a great place to own a Willys jeep. Your photos prove it!

I don't have one of those, but from others' pics, it looks right in your photo. I think you're missing a bracket between the w/s inner frame and the wiper motor, though. At least, I think I've seen a bracket there in some pics. However, I could be totally mistaken. That's a really nice Jeep, w/s wipers or not.

The motor is mounted with the round side up as you have it, but your motor is not from a CJ2A. Take a look at the photos in this guide and you will see the type of bracket needed. The motor is mounted to the bracket and the bracket is attached to the windshield frame with two screws that go into the threaded holes in the bracket so you will need two additional holes in the frame. The hose connection should be pointing to the left. DonH

This weekend I changed tyres on my jeep and helped my friend to change the clutch and adjust the valves on his machine, then we took the jeeps for a spin! It was the first ride this summer, and it was amazing! We drove to my brother and his girlfriend to cut down a tree, fun day overall. Here are some pic's to enjoy! |

ho everyone
New to this site. I have bought 48 cj2a and it's in really bad condition. I have bought reproduction frame and issue that I have is that it's 29 inch wide and original or according to the manual it's should be 29 1/4 inch wide. How do I fix this any ideas. Million thanks in advance Raj

Hello Raj, welcome to the site. Go ahead and start a thread in the "Your Jeep project" forum and introduce yourself. Pictures are a big help. If your frame is off 1/4" it may not be that big an issue. You may end up making slight adjustments along the way.
