I bought a repo tub seveal years ago from a guy in Tx shipping them in from the Philipines. I think they are Genmark brand but am not sure. Anyway, here's the question. The dash has military configuration holes so I am assuming it was built to MB specs. I'm putting it on a 3A frame. I have run into a problem with the gas tank fill port in the tub. It seems to be about 1/2 inch or so misplaced for available repo metal tanks. The tank neck will go in but it wont allow the rubber seal around the neck. Has anyone tried to bend a tank neck?? Seems like you could with something wooden the size of the neck. Any takers on this one??
