I am thinking about selling my 1948 Cj2a. The Jeep has a rebuilt motor with about 20,000 miles on it. It was bored .20 and does not smoke. It has a new gas tank, and a new repro wind shield. I put a bell crank kit in it as well. The tub is in fair condition as it has had several pieces of metal welded in to fix rust in the body. There are a few spots of body filler on this tub as well. The Jeep has also had a new modern wiring harness installed as well. The seats are out of a VW Beetle I think. The brakes need to be repaired as it has been in my basement for 1 1/2 years. The passengers rear spring hangersection of the frame has had some plates welded in to fix some rust.
This Jeep would make a good running project vehicle for someone to fix up or just simply drive as is. I have a clear title for the vehicle as well.
Oh by the way there is a Used bestop Soft top with the jeep that needs to have a few seams repaired included. I think most of the hardware for the top is present but no promises. ASking 1900.00
