Please see Questions and Answers for some topics that frequently appear on this board. As you can see, this board loads rather slowly. If you are posting something for sale, please remember to include your location since someone who might otherwise be interested might not be able to use a part or a vehicle that is too far away. Posting your location when you're selling something that needs to be hauled will save everyone's time (and reduce the number of posts on this already too-slow message board). Thanks.

Thanks Bill,

I checked, and I do get brake fluid up to the S - that part works ok.

So I took off both front hub assemblies (sort of). The left one came off pretty easy.

Warn hub (6 long bolts)
castle nut (~.5")
two really big (~1.5") nuts
washer
brake cover (what the shoe pushes on)
Then greasy bearing things (two).

At that point I pushed the brakes and one of the two shoes moved. The other one doesn't. I assume that means I need to replace the hydrolic cylinder.

Now for the other side.

Warn hub (6 bolts)
snap ring
one nut (~1.5")
washer (bent)

So the problem here is that I can not get that big nut off. The washer under it is bent up along one of the sides of the nut. It looks like this is on purpose, perhaps because there aren't two nuts (to lock together) like the other side. This prevents the nut from spinning, so I can not get it off. I am at a loss???? I could probably bend the washer flat with a hammer and a screw-driver, but I will probably tear things up in there doing it.

Can anyone provide some suggestions?

Thanks,
Jeremy
