As far as I know, there are no spacers to keep the tank off the floor. The tank sits on the floor which is a cause of the metal rot that seems to occur there as dried leaves and other stuff eventually find there way under the tank and then collect and retain moisture.
The strap retainer is welded to the tunnel. I could send you a photo if you'd like.
