i picked up a cj2a with no ID plate that i can find and no title. i have heard that there could be an ID plate on the frame somewhere but no one can agree where it would be. were the serial numbers stamped into the bodies somewhere? i have yet to tear the jeep apart. when i do where should i look for any marks to identify the jeep? just looking at the jeep the only thing i see is it does not have tool indents on the body. not sure that means anything though. thanks for the imput guys.
