I bought a partially rebuilt 2A with a fiberglass tub. I can assure you that the quality of workmanship is poor, at least on the one that I have. I'm having to re-glass the joint between the top of the wheel wells and the side of the body. There is nothing really solid in the tub. Direct to the frame is the only way to mount a roll bar and even attaching seat belts is a little iffy. As far as I can see, the only advantage is price. : seen some questions about fiberglass tubs here. wondered if anyone has used one? i have seen them in catalogs and on the web but no pics only drawings. i have a pair of 47 cj2a's 1 parst 1 real nice. the parts jeep runs now like a tractor with no hood window or anything behind driver seat. seen the fg bodys cheap thought i would be a good idea to use it to off road with and still look good without the cost of a steel kit. any advice or links with pics would help
