Please see Questions and Answers for some topics that frequently appear on this board. As you can see, this board loads rather slowly. If you are posting something for sale, please remember to include your location since someone who might otherwise be interested might not be able to use a part or a vehicle that is too far away. Posting your location when you're selling something that needs to be hauled will save everyone's time (and reduce the number of posts on this already too-slow message board). Thanks.

: was looking at the engine thinking of how i was going to fit a supercharger and blower atop my new little 4 banger, and then i noticed that one of the plugs looked a little crooked. pulled on the plug wire and most of the plug came off with the wire. pulled off the head got the other three plugs out ok. any thoughts? none of the bolt part of the plug is left.

: thanks for all the help

You are not gonna like my answer. Unless you have done this before or really know how to use a easy out the the best advice is to take the head off and go see a good mechanic you trust. (if you are lucky one or someone will come to you) The risk of ruining a plug thread in a head is too great. I would hovever soak it in penitrating oil for about a week first. Hint on removeing head: Never use a crowbar!!! Go to sears or a good tool store and get a stud rumover. they are cheap and you will need one for outher jobs on the Jeep anyway. If you have not now is the time to get the service manual. Oh if you remove head drain the water first use the drain kock on side of block and radiator. No need to drain oil. If you try your hand at a easy out be aware you might verry well get shaveings in the engine-not a good thing. Bill
