Thanks Bill-- we are going to remove the cover and be sure of the teeth count, then order the unit. The homemade piece you wrote about--it this something that I need to fabricate or does Herm include it?
Thanks
Chris
: Overdrive is the way to go. On installing It's simple with the body off. With body on it's fun. Installing the linkage is the hard part. Little room for you fingers to make the connections. I found the shifter that Herm supplyed needed to be bent as not to hit the dash when engaged. you will need to cut a hole in the transmission cover for the lever. Herm supplys the hole cover. Be sure to read his instructions and that you understand how the lock washer inside goes on. Be sure you install the long homemade peice as this supplys oil to the rear of the unit. If like me the instructions seemed vague at first-re read tnem and it will come to you. If at any time you are not sure - Ask. Herm and the rest of us will help you. Bill
