Hairline cracks near motor/generator mount

After having my Go Devil rebuilt to the tune of $1600, I now see before setting it in the frame that there are 2 cracks about 1in in length and hairline in width at the spacer where the generator mounts. If you're looking at the front of the engine as it sits in the Jeep, it would be the bracket that secures the FRONT part of the generator and then secures to the motor mount. If this makes no sense, pg. 19 of the CJ2A Repro service manual shows the part perfectly. Long story short, is it just a minor deal because of the generator, or major because it bears the weight of the motor? Figure you guys have probably seen this one before?
