Ring and Pinion Installation

I'm installing a front ring and pinion in a '48. I have a press, but no tooling for pressing bearings off as I will need to do when going through the necessary trial and error.
A "bearing puller adapter" is shown in the rear axle section of the service manual. Are these tools around? Where might I find one to buy, rent of whatever?
NAPA has a split tool that looks like it might work and handles bearings up to 4.5" diameter. Anyone had experience with this tooling? Or could you recommend another product or source?
Thanks for any help.
