My CJ2A is set up with spring over. There raise over the standard height is about 3-3/4" or so. Mine has a dropped pitman arm with stock steering box. I run 31" Swampers with 8" wide treads. It steers fine, and tows very well with the Warn full floating axles on the stock rearend. If I was undertaking the project, I would set it up with John Nutter's overspring tie rod set up and or a Saginaw manual box. I DO NOT DRIVE IT ON THE HIGHWAY AT ALL. I would probably not do this Spring over to a CJ unless I had a good reason, but it DOES NOT cripple the Jeep - on the contrary, it does very well in the rough trails. Mike S
