tried putting a spare tire on my cj2a last night on the rear passengers outside and found it quite unstable. I guess part of the problem could be the aftermarket holder but the fender or side area seems somewhat unstable. Is there some kind of a plate that is suppose to be mounted on first to stiffen it up?
