This engine idles great until it come up to running temp, then #3 cylinder goes dead. I have
changed plugs, wires, rotor, cap, and even swapped out the distributor with another one. I have
checked the compression 125 cold-- 100 hot it was even on all cylinders. I also checked the
valve adjustment and it was OK . I loosened up #3 valves thinking it must be tighting up when
it warms up. The valve springs seemed to be OK ( no broken ones) . This problem seemed to
happen all at once , It ran great before. Could the valve seat be raising up and not letting the
valve close? Nothing I have done has helped.
