: I think we've all been there...

: First, try adjusting your brake shoes all the way in, furthest away from the drum. Often times, this is the problem as they can snag/hang within the drum and prevent removal.

: Second, once the brake shoes are out of the way, I think the use of a hub puller is common. There is an ordinary keyway and key machined into the spindle and into the receiver portion of the hub itself. Douse what you can see with penetrant and get after it. The key does not need to be removed first before removal of the hub.
: I had to apply a surprising amount of force on the puller. I kept hitting the end of the shaft with a 3 lb to shock the assembly. Believe me, when it finally came off, it came off - and shot about 8 feet across the garage, hub, puller and all.
: Be mindful of the stresses going on here. Stay to the side and out of the way and wear protective eyewear etc.

: Third, if all else fails, get a cutting torch.
: I think a fair number of cases end up right here.

: Good luck!

I will try that, thanks, i got the front off with no problems.. jus on the rear, a pita... i was realy suprised when i didnt see any keepers or anyhtign holding the drum on..
