Glenn, I measured the placement of my hood block holes, and here is what I found: (all references to lt or rt are the jeep's lt/rt while facing forward) the setback from the leading edge is 2 1/4" for lt &rt; the distance from the center crease in the hood to the rt mounting holes is 10 1/4" and from the center crease to the lt holes is 13". The hole spacing is 2 1/2" on center for the blocks. You may want to verify that the blocks are not equally spaced from the center of the hood, but I believe this to be for clearance of the wiper mechanism at the top of the windshield. Sorry that it took so long to get back to you tonight, but when I pulled the jeep into the sunlight, I figured that I'd go for a short ride around my field. Hope this helps, : Anybody know the 'correct' positioning of the wooden hood blocks for a '48 2A? : For example, how many inches left and right of center and how many inches back from the leading edge of the hood? : Many thanks for your tips!
