The key does not need to be removed first before removal of the hub. : : Third, if all else fails, get a cutting torch. : : Good luck! : I will try that, thanks, i got the front off with no problems.. jus on the rear, a pita... i was realy suprised when i didnt see any keepers or anyhtign holding the drum on.. I had the same problem; I seem to remember that the hub is attached to the brakedrum, and there is a friction fit to the tappered axle. The hub puller is the way to go....and I had to use a 10# sledge!
