: I'm almost finished with restoration and need to correctly locate hood blocks for the windshield rest on my all original 47 2A. It would appear from some photos that the original position placed these blocks unevenly on the hood. That is to say the driver side block is about 13.5 or so inches from the centerline of the hood and the passenger side block is closer to the center at about 10 inches from centerline. If this correct, I assume it is to compensate for the wiper arms BUT THE QUESTION IS FOR YOU EXPERTS OUT THERE...IS WHAT I HAVE DESCRIBED CORRECT?? Help here is appreciated. Oakes, this is your kind of question.

Ok, the riders side from center is 10" over from the front of hood 2 1/4" to first screw 4 3/4" to the second screw. drivers side is 13" from center of hood 2 1/4"to first screw 4 3/4" to second screw. ed
