Although I would think you should still be getting pressure readings even with the return line blocked (if that's the case) because I believe we're talking about two independent functions. Maybe the passage that feeds the flexible line to the oil gauge is blocked or the line itself is blocked. Good luck. Thanx, for the help. I pulled the return line to the timing cover and it was fairly plugged. No oil was dripping out from the full canister. I put compressed air to it and even that took a moment to blow thru. Today I'm going to the parts store and having them make up a new line with fitting. Will then check that before proceeding.
