: Just purchased my first 46 CJ2A, and am cleaning out the leaves to see all the holes. Gas tank has 36 pin holes that I can see so far. Engine turns over & was running 5 years ago. Just need advice on where to start in the restoration process.
: Thanks
: David

Ok this is ed again I rebuit my engine and all of the rust by using a torch and acc. welder filling all the metal back in-- well satisfied. The best book that I used is JEEP service repair handbook its by CLYMER and covers willys overland model mb and ford model gpw. Very complete. If you can find one it's published in 1965. Go to a book store and see if they can get you one. Good luck..
