: There was a emerald green but it is a mystery color for 1948. I have a 48 and the PO swares it was a dark green. Not much is known about it and I have never seen a color chip on it. Todd Paisley's color chart does mention it but that is it

I have a '48 (SN 198034) that was originally painted emerald green. It's a "work in progress," and I still haven't decided if I should try to duplicate the original color, or go with the one I really like - pasture green.
