I sorry about the ambiguous comment.
The colors I mentioned were those available for 1948 CJ2As. Therefore, any of the colors would be appropriate.
On this website, you can see how slate gray looks in my red Jeep, but it's not a Luzon Red Jeep. It's the local Dupont Paint Dealer's attempt at Harvard Red.
